My goodness, Shelley. I am so sorry to read about the death and loss of your sister. I will pray for you all!
Shelley,
I just wanted to let you know how much your sister meant to all of us here in Pittsburgh. She truly made the world around her a better place by being in it. We all pray for you and your family.

Shelley,
I am so sorry to hear about Stacey. I worked with her at Robert Morris and was lucky to know her. She was such a special person. My thoughts are with you and your family through this time.

Most merciful God, whose wisdom is beyond our understanding, deal graciously with Shelley & her family in their grief. Surround them with your love, that they may not be overwhelmed by their loss, but have confidence in your goodness, and strength to meet the days to come; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Shelley and family,
I am so saddened and sorry to hear about Tate. She was such a great person. She was always so vibrant, happy, and full of life. I cannot believe she is no longer here. I have been so blessed to know her throughout the last 17 years. We may not have spoken often in the past 5 years or so, but when we did it was like speaking to a friend who has always been there. That’s just the quality of person she was. A true friend. She will be missed by so many. I will be praying for you and your entire family.
Love,
Matt
Dear Shelley and family,
My heart is breaking as I write this note to you. I just recently found out about Tate and I was not able to make it to the funeral. I’m thankful I have found your blog. I graduated with Tate (Class of ’91 – Ridgway!) and although I have not seen her in so many years, she is someone who is a part of my high school memories.
Anthony and I will be thinking of you and keeping you and your family in our prayers.
Much Love
Karen
Shelley,
So sorry to hear about Stacey. I talked to my dad tonight…its a three hour time difference….and he told me all about it. While its been 20 years, I remember fun times with your family vividly.
My condolences.

Shelley- I am so sorry to hear about your sister. I remember when we were kids and living above my grandparents we were always playing at your house. I know how much “death sucks”! It has been 8 years 11 months and 9 days since my brother passed. If you ever need to talk I’m a good listener…. Sorry again!
Amy

Dear Shelley and family,
I can not even begin to express how sorry I am to hear about Tate. The shock was painful this afternoon when I got my Houghton alum magazine. I did not know this had happened. Over the years, I have thought of all the great times we all had together and remembered how full of life and joy Tate was, and what an honor it was to have known her. My heart aches for your loss.
My deepest condolences to your family, and know you are all in my prayers today.

Oh Shelley… I’ve been walking around here in a daze of disbelief. I just saw notice of Tate’s passing in the Alumni directory… I had to re-read it several times, though it’s a simple bullet-heading notice. I’m so so sorry for your loss & sorry that this sympathy is so late in coming. I LOVE YOU, dear sister friend! May God continue to sustain you & give you PEACE.
Hello, Shelley. I just visited Tate’s grave for the first time today. I found out about her passing a few weeks ago because of this blog. I live in Pittsburgh, but our hunting camp is over here by Hallton. So I visited her today. We went out three, maybe four times. We met online. We went kareokeing together and dinner a couple of times. She was a gorgeous girl and full of life, so fun to be around. It cracked me up how much she loved Mick Jagger and Pat Benatar. She came to my house–in Grove City at the time–and we sat on the back porch and sang and talked. She loved you guys so much and talked about you all a lot, especially your parents. She loved the Lord and was a good person. I am deeply sorry for such a terrible loss that you all have had to endure.
